On September 8th, 2022, the infamous news was announced that Queen Elizabeth II of England was not in good health and needed medical supervision. This is never a good sign, and to very little surprise she was pronounced dead later that same day. The odd part is how it seemed so out of nowhere. The queen had been moving out and about the day before just fine at the age of 96, yet the news had listed her cause of death as “old age”. The problem here is that because of her old age, this was a likely story that no one thought twice about. However, a select group of MI6 agents who had been monitoring the queen decided to look into the situation because they had some questions about her death considering the “old age” reason.
These agents, interestingly enough, had been ordered to stay in the UK during the queen’s visit to Scotland, from which she did not return alive. This sparked concerns amongst them considering the coincidence that her secret service protection was told specifically to not join her. With this information they headed to Scotland to research her activity leading up to her death, and they found even more intriguing information. Her security team in Scotland had not kept track of her activity as mandated, and instead simply recorded that she was safe and under their watch the entire time of her visit. They could not understand how all of this was coincidence, and the story seemed to get more blurry the more they learned.
Taking all of this into account, the MI6 team went to interrogate the security team that was with her in Scotland to get the information straight from the source, however the story quickly got even worse. The names of the men that were with her in Scotland had all apparently quit right after the queen’s death. To make it even more crazy, their names were not associated with real people so the MI6 agents could not even find them after they quit. The men’s identities had been wiped from history. This could have either meant that they were up to something and decided to go into hiding to avoid punishment, or someone else “dealt with” the men before wiping their information so they couldn’t be tracked. More and more questions kept popping up and at this point the MI6 agents didn’t even know what to look for.
They decided there was one more curious aspect of the queen’s death; that she was given a closed casket wake and funeral. This was not unusual amongst royalty to hide the dead image of the nobility. However, in this scenario it pointed to even more suspicion. The agents decided in accordance with the ongoing case, they had to investigate this further but no one had authorization to disturb the queen’s resting place. The MI6 agents, however, could not settle with this and decided to go on their own to illegally check for themselves. Upon using their special skill set to go into the queen’s grave they found the most surprising and confusing piece of information yet. Nothing but shock was on their faces when they opened the casket to find that it was empty.
